Frankie Joe Daigle has played all over the United States and abroad from the bayous of Louisiana to Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center to Farm Aid and the Grand Ole Opry. Frankie Joe has appeared on TNN (The Nashville Network), Good Morning America, and the Regis Philbin Show. He has also appeared alongside Charley Pride, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, Bobby Vinton, Jimmy Sturr, Marty Stuart, and Travis Tritt.
Frankie Joe Daigle has also played the Grand Ole Opry with Jimmy C. Newman & Cajun Country and along side another boyhood hero, "The Ragin' Cajun" -Doug Kershaw as well as, most recently, with Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys.
In addition to performing at FarmAid with Willie Nelson and the Allman Brothers Band, Frankie Joe has also recorded several albums and made several appearances with Willie Nelson. He can also be seen briefly in the 2011 Academy Award winning movie for Best Picture "Black Swan". In 1984 he was named 'Fiddler of the Year' by the Cajun French Music Association (CFMA).
Frankie Joe Daigle is comprised of seasoned musicians, some of whom are Grammy Award winners and/or have performed on Grammy Award winning albums. Frankie Joe is also the Fiddler of the 18-time Grammy Award winning 'Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra'. Frankie Joe Daigle is truly entertaining and unique, while featuring the fire-driven, footstompin', toe-tapping, Americana/Traditional Folk music that the beloved fiddler is known for. While Frankie Joe Daigle is an Americana band, their latest CD, "Hot & Spicy" features fire driven, highly seasoned Cajun music as a Tribute to his Grandfather and mentor, as well as his family on his Mother's side. It includes original compositions and clever cover arrangements.
